Guest Neezer Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 I just have a quick question, and I dont mean to steal the thread, but everyone is talking about the L2 cache, what does it do, and why is it better to have a larger one?

n_w95482 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Started out with a 3700+ SD, think it was a CABHE 0518 WPAW. It only hit 2.65 GHz with almost 1.6v. Now I have an Opteron 165, which I love. 2.8 GHz was a breeze, and it tears through Folding@Home WU's .
