Help Troubleshoot my FDD

Not sure if this is the right section to be posting this

 

I keep getting error message Insert Disk in Drive A:

 

I have installed latest drivers from DFI website (DFI-Expert Board)

 

I have put FDD from old machine into new machine

 

I have put FDD cable from old machine into new machine

 

I have disable quick boot setting in BIOS

 

Still no joy, wont recognise FDD

 

Any Ideas????

Floppys have there use even though we dont like them they help installing crap programs like Windows.

 

 

Flip the cord over if the light stays on. KISS try another disk. I do have a USB there are just times when you want the most basic of equipment to avoid issues.

 

Love my USB stick though.

I had this problem once with my LP UT NF4 Ultra-D. All was fine and suddenly, impossible to read a floppy without any reason. I had to install a whole fresh WinXP. It was the only solution for me
