yzrider088 Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 I am looking for a program that runs in the system tray where you can easily change the speaker setup to 5.1 or headphones instead of going to "Start-->Settings-->Control Panel-->Sounds and Audio Devices-->Advanced". Any ideas of this type of program? Thanks
The Warden Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 if it's a Creative card, just add the speaker setting into the quick launch, Otherwise at this moment I dunno how.

yzrider088 Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Will the nvidia app work on soundblaster stuff, ie non-creative? Might be a stupid question but just wondering, Thanks

suspekt Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I think you can change the settings in the registry, if you find the correct keys. If possible, you can have two registry files, one for 5.1 and one for headphones and put them on the desktop or in the quicklaunch. You can ever put them on a hotkey so you can switch over faster.
