Karajan Audio Problems: Woofer

Hi,

 

I'm having problems with my Karajan Audio Subwoofer output. When using the NVMixer "Speaker Wizard" the subwoofer emits white noise when it should but, at the completion of the test it does not output sound.

 

The drivers are those that came with the DFI Mainboard: I've not updated them (due to some problems with the first attempt to build this system, namely the well-known PCI issue).

 

Any ideas?

When using the nvidia driver to enabled center,

To enable BASS you must tick LFE

For rear you must tick clone

Rear set may not work all the time, it depends on the application.

That did it, many thanks. However, it's odd that I had to switch to 5.1 to enable the sub out, particularly considering the fact that the NVMixer Speaker Wizard specifically tests for the presence of a sub. If, through the test process, it knows that the config is 2 speakers + sub then it ought to inform the user of the need to enable LFE if he desires sub outputs. Oh well, it's working.
