CPU crawling through benchmarks

hello boys first post just need some help with my puter being mega slow on my 3dmark cpu test

 

now before you tell me that its supposed to be slower than the other tests...i do infact know this...but when i score slower than a celeron that means i got issues

 

now i have updated my board to the 5.10's and it did not help much

 

i can't give you a link to my scores because my account is not working but i can tell you now its working at about 20% of what it should be

 

i updated the bios and that helped my temps by a whole bunch and i got the new drivers and my system is running fine but the benchmark is not going that well

 

i have pretty crappy ram which might be the problem but i doubt its the only problem

 

 

I need help from you guys because i know your are the best

Which version of 3dmark, what are your scores and how are your FPS in the game tests.

its the newest version of 3dmark03 and my average fps on cputest wings of fury is about 27fps and avg for trolls cpu test is about 7

 

 

EDIT: and i have had this mobo for almost a year now and i just now have started doing benchmarks with it

 

 

before i have an asus K8v delux with a 3000+ and a 9800pro card same ram and my cpu score was 3 times better

Way low, Let's do some basic checks. Have you changed the CPU multi accidently. Open up CPUZ and make sure the CPU and the memory are at the correct speeds.

well i have eveything being read at correct speeds (2.4 ghz) and ram is running at cas 3 ddr 400

k thanks it will be a while before i get to use the computer again but before that do you think i could get some suggestions on what to do?

I have never seen a problem like the one you have. Below is a link to SuperPi mod. Use the calclate 1M and then post back back with your time. Have to find out if is a software or hardware problem.

That's about right for a 2.4 gig CPU. I would venture to say it is software related. Try Google Aquamark 3, download and run it. CPU score should be over 9500.

i used cpuZ and found my ram are made from different companies and one is cas L 3 and the other is cas L 2.5 and is made by samsung the other is Kingston

manul set the memory in the bios to 2.5 -3-3-8
