blahblah Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Ok..... what is the need for slipstreaming I mean I know you should slipstream when the driver you need isn't included in the OS that you're trying to install... (like when you need sata2 or raid in winXP) but why else should you use it?...... Is there any other necessities for it?....... Impaqt Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 number one reason would be un-attended installation. You can put all your user settings, geographical/time settings, network, install key, yadda yadda inthe slipstreamed install so you can run it and forget about it..... No floppy and running a RAID? Slipstream....
virtual81 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 I do it to save time. Seems instaling SP2 seperatly takes a while. I'll be looking into customizing later
