Clear CMOS = clear bios?

I just got my new nF4 UT board and I have a x2 3800+. I believe the mobo comes with the 623 bios which is compatible with dual core. But after I clear the CMOS, will it revert back to an earlier bios which is not compatible with the dual core? If so... I cant get my chip to work with the mobo :(

Cmos Reloaded has 4 banks where you can save different sets of cmos settings. For instance you could have an 'optimized', a stock, a full stable OC, and an extreme OC set of settings. Then depending on your need you select and load from one of your Cmos Reloaded banks. However, whenever you flash (new bios program) to a new bios, it's recommended that you do a cmos reset (resets settings for program), 'load optimized' and save to all 4 banks clearing the settings from the prior bios which might not be compatible with the new one.
