JiveTurkey Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 You'll probably be better served by searching through the forums and finding the right RAM for *you*. There's a lot of choices, many of which serve different purposes and fit different budgets. Unfortunately, there's likely no easy answer to your question. JiveTurkey Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 2GB @ DDR400 there's a few excellent choices, which is still up to you: OCZ Platinum (OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K) runs 2-3-2-5 at stock speeds but won't overclock too far. That kit is just over $200 with MIR. Several other good options from G.SKILL, Mushkin and Geil too. But you can't beat OCZ products and support. My $0.02. adreno Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 You might want to check this thread, with some reccomended suggestions. Not all the 2GB modules are covered here though, so be sure to do a search and see what others are using. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24719
Grim86 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 OCZ Platinum (OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K) look really nice, not to mention i plan on Liquid Cooling most of my hardware in my pc, the RAM guide said that this memory can be overclocked, just with some more cooling. This ram would provide me with great low latency stock, and then when i decide to liquid cool my pc i could push it into overtime extra low latency.
