Bernie17 Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 Hi all. Completed stress testing after oc'ing this rig. However, I needed to run a divider of 6/5. How can I get a higher memory frequency? Core speed 2527,multiplier x 9,HTT 280.9 Memory frequency 229.8 @3-3-3-8 @ 3.0V Thanks, Bernie
CPDMF Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 What are the rest of your timings? 3.0 is pushing it on voltage for TCCD especially at only 230 FSB. I get to 300FSB with TCCD on 2.7 volts. Timings are a little loose and are probably not in sync with the rest of your memory timings. Usually 2.5, 4, 7, 3 will get you well past 250 if it's decent TCCD. Post up the rest of your timings so we can take a peek for something obvious.
divided Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 yeah those timings are a bit loose and thats too much voltage for this memory. im running 270 at 2.8 volts. i used this guide as a baseline and tweaked from there. hope this helps. www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9833
