flapjackman176 Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 i have been using Ntune to lower my CPU fan speed for quite some time, i was forced to reformat and start over. im now using windows xp pro 2005 gold edition and since ive re-installed Ntune the CPU fan speed no longer shows up along with the bar you can adjust it with. and without that i have to suffer from this wind turbine of a fan on my CPU. am i using a newer or different Ntune that doesnt support this feature? and if there is a better program than Ntune to use let me know please. aplusdesigners Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 Hey Flap, why don't you post the fix so if someone else needs the fix they will have it?
Branjo Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 yeah the resolution is all important. I heard not to use Ntune at all and to just get a fan controller or run the fans from the 5v to half their speeds that way.
