Psychobiker Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Hi, somehow I have 1.9v chipset, and smartguardian is bitching about it. Might I have buggered something up in the BIOS? it's only at 38C idle... L

Psychobiker Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 No idea - I can go look - what's it meant to be?
Psychobiker Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 OK, BIOS says 1.55, SG says 1.19?!
lowboy Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 You dont say which 3200you have . You should go DL cpuz and see what it shows as far as volts and cpu info. SG prob. reading wrong but best to check.
Guest wenis Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Smartguardian reports different voltages than my BIOS for my cpu and memory as well. In the BIOS I have my CPU set to 1.5v, BIOS reports 1.48, SG reports 1.4, CPUZ reports 1.456. Which one do I trust!? Is this a bug with Smartguardian? Psychobiker Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Not CPU - chipset!
lowboy Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Chipset NF4 stock voltage is 1.5v Download MBM5 works well for me I don't use SG
wevsspot Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I also use MBM5 with the custom config files available here on the Street. Works great. I prefer it over Smart Guardian. Stock chipset voltage is 1.5V You will find some here that run it at 1.6V to 1.7V when overclocking to improve stability. THunDA Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Psychobiker.. Which bios version are you using ? (please add this to your sig also)
ShaTR Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 sry to dig up an old thread, but 1.9v on ur chipset  why do you need it that high. i havn't seen anyone who needed more than 1.6 (1.7 in rare cases) and they were running over 300htt. lower dat . and see if you have any stability problems. my guess is you wont
Chaos_2k Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Nope, that was what SG reported...... Same thingy with my Cpu VCore.... Yesterday i saw someone having is AMD 64 3200+ Venice @2600mhz with 1.32V Vcore... Can this be the truth? What do most people write in their sig for Voltage, the Smartguardian or the Bios reported Voltage or the Bios setted Voltage?
