System shutting off Completely

Recommended Posts

It IS on the list, but if you note, its the Zeus series, not the Strider. And the amperage is VERY low.

For Max Load:

12v1 13a

12v2 18a

12v3 16a

12v4 8a

Those are pretty bad man. Recommended while using SLI is a minimum of 24a. 26a or more is recommended though for optimal performance.

The Zeus has the same spec dude.

I think you gotta be looking at the board..... my 2p - try it as you never know - I read this thread with interest as we seem to have very similar problems.

Hmm...what PSU are you using? Also, when you say look at the board...what are you referring to?

I think it's in my sig - but if not - it's aPCP&C 850w beauty.

But thats because I run my dual core on a phase change cooler - my graphics cards are fully volt modded and I am the best UK Overclocker of 2005. I only had the cards volt modded as I knew about the 512MB coming out and the fact that this core is good for 630mhz - but al my other equipemnt can be purchased from an overclocking store so I am the best in the workd today for regular guys using off the shelf components.

Look me up top 10 in every futuremark test using official drivers:

Just waiting for DFI to make me an endorsement offer ;)

Very cool that you are acheiving such high overclocks.

I have sent an e-mail to Silverstone asking them about this PSU. Either it is a dud and needs to be replaced or I just need to try a different brand of PSU.

Well I am defintiely sending this PSU back for sure. Next question is this,

Here are the three choices as I see it:

And mind you that I am considering the 600 Watter because I want to have some room for future proofing.
