Losing Screen!

Recommended Posts

Dear everybody,

Yesterday i was messing around with the SLI (because i just bought another card), and it worked very very well. The only thing i don't like is that the 1st card gets hotter because the hot air is kinda trapped between 2 cards. I put fan blowing air inbetween both card and now i got a big issue! Both video card seems to be working and i constantly get the video signal (The monitor doesn't go to standby mode), but the monitor randomly turns black. If i turn the monitor off and back on, i get the video again. Anybody got the same issue?

I tried testing the cards one by one (turned off the SLI) and the issue's not cured.

I tried both slots and i still got the problem. The boot process is very normal, i can get to windows and stuffs. If i turn the monitor off and back on, i get the screen again and soon i'll lose it again.

Do you have another monitor you can test with? Or someone elses computer you can test both cards in?

Seems unlikely you would get the same issue with both cards. I am thinking somethings up with the monitor...
