boqonx Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Dear everybody, Yesterday i was messing around with the SLI (because i just bought another card), and it worked very very well. The only thing i don't like is that the 1st card gets hotter because the hot air is kinda trapped between 2 cards. I put fan blowing air inbetween both card and now i got a big issue! Both video card seems to be working and i constantly get the video signal (The monitor doesn't go to standby mode), but the monitor randomly turns black. If i turn the monitor off and back on, i get the video again. Anybody got the same issue? I tried testing the cards one by one (turned off the SLI) and the issue's not cured. I tried both slots and i still got the problem. The boot process is very normal, i can get to windows and stuffs. If i turn the monitor off and back on, i get the screen again and soon i'll lose it again.

Seems unlikely you would get the same issue with both cards. I am thinking somethings up with the monitor... Sam C
