my naked sandy 4000 for your dual core 3800

 

Running now at 250x11 (2.75Ghz @ 1.55 Vcore)(temp under load 36C)

 

this has never been air cooled, always watercooled. I will also toss in a TDX CPU Waterblock. Just incase you don't have any watercooling, this will get ya started.

but how can i clean out the inside of a tdx block?

i mean mine is all dirty and crude. i wanna open it and repolish it or something (maybe gold plate it too lol make it shinyyyy).

but dont wanna void warranty as the silver sticker states

The sticker is there mainly to let you know that the block was hand tested @ DD, and passed all leak checks.

 

you can take the block apart by removing the 4 screws. Then just pull out the nozzle place and remove the oring. Now the copper block is ready for a scrubbing with an old used tooth brush and some dish soap. You can also remove the tarnish by giving the copper a ketchup bath... it really works... then clean it off and reassemble.

 

But now you are responcible for insuring that you have a total seal between the oring, copper and he block's top.
