Rousie Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 OcUK are doing a G.Skill 1GB DDR FF PC4800 Matched Kit for £160! This seems like a good deal to be fair, but: 1) Is 1gb enough (Rarley play games, but do alot of photoshop and video editing - no pro) 1a)If not, then could i buy 2 kits, and run 4 sticks without problems? 2) Does it work well with the SLI-DR? Can't really afford it, but it's like half price, and i HATE to miss a deal! Is it worth waiting longer? Deano
ICON57 Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 in my experience dfi and g.skill play very good 2gether i would say go with 2*1gig sticks for photoshop use, and in general easier to work with as opposed to 4 sticks of 512 not sure about price...i dont understand pounds...lol
Rousie Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 That's about $290... I just want the system to rock, and not have to keep buying more memory through the year. If it's cheaper in the US, i'll order from there! Any other recomendations? Dean
