I didn't notice OCZ was putting out gigabyte sticks with the new heatspreaders. Nice RAM.
They're not new. It's the special "XTC" heatsink that has honeycombed shapes weaved in and out.
So far, can't complain with this kit.....BF2, COD2, and FEAR all run like butter now

DemonR6 turned me on to this kit....he has gotten up to 285 stable at the 9x multi with his venice, so there definitely is headroom for OC with these. If you wanna read more about them, check out this thread at xtreme

Now I am happily running my 3500+ Venice I got a few weeks ago from one of the members at 280x10 with the 180 divider an a mere 2.7V of ram. I stand by my G.Skill ram.. the Samsung UCCC ram is damn good in my book.
The HZ kit I got Friday is doing great.

3-4-4-7 @ 270 MHz prime stable 8 hours.

3-4-3-7 @ 265 MHz priming for 90 minutes now, no indication it will fail.

I seem to have one weaker stick than the other, reversing the order of slots got me 10 MHz more. I'll test them individually.
What slots are you using? I noticed the orange slots are where mine work best..

My RAM just came yesterday, good ol' NF3 chipset seems to not like me using 1t. Running prime now at 250 3-4-4-8 1t however. I am using the yellow slots, but may switch back to the orange slots, I think I had more stablity there, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know if it is possible to keep the settings put into a64 tweaker? I put in all the latencies and everything and click set. The RAM then runs at what I put in, but will revert to bios settings on reboot. Anyway to make the tweaker settings stick? Thanks.

Well I got around to putting in my 4x1gb today. So far my primary goal of 256MHz is superpi32m stable. No major changes form BIOS default except to set it at 3-4-4-8. Timings included in screenshot. I'm going to prime tonight and test for max OC tomorrow...

My dream is 281MHz :eek2: . We'll see how bitchy this Opteron mem controller really is, I've never had the problems that others report. We'll see. I'l post up a max OC in the next couple days..

I was thinking of getting ddr500 in this thread, have you guys had good results?
Also what would be better 4 512mb at ddr600 or 2 1gig at ddr500?

I just upgraded my system from the LE's to a Samsung UCCC based Mushkin set. I did it to go from 1GB to 2GB. The LE's are awesome RAM, but it really seems like games are heading towards needing 2GB. BF2 and FEAR pushed me over the edge. I'd go with the G.Skill F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ kit, or with the Mushkin kit I am running - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820146397
