I see instances of topics that have been *MOVED* (to another DFI Forum I assume). And I see other topics marked [RESOLVED]. How does one make these changes?

Wouldn't it improve things if the person who started the topic also had this privilege ? I propose this as a suggestion ...

ya, really.... somebody that just wanted to be an idiot, for whatever reason, could come and mark them all as resolved, and move them to the obvious wrong place.

THIS IS THE SUGGESTION: that ONLY THE PERSON WHO CREATED THE TOPIC have those privileges ...

Wasn't trying to make any rules, AG; just trying to be helpful. That's not a crime, is it ? How many 'resolved' topics have been marked 'resolved' and who better than the topic starter knows better when it's resolved ? And who is more motivated to so mark it when that ugly headache is cured and he is all smiles ?

Only the Admin and Mods change the thread titles. We monitor the threads for completeness before marking them [RESOLVED].

You may have noticed that there are many threads that seem to be resolved that never get the tag. This is because there are several ways to resolve a problem in some cases and many times another solution will be posted in a thread that has not been marked [RESOLVED].

Any forum member can PM a Mod and request the tag.
