[Resolved] (input MAC address) Network Connectivity Problem

Recommended Posts

This is my first DFI Motherboard and so far I'm extremely happy with the performance. I'm running my 146 at 3.05GHz with only a slight increase to the memory voltage. SWEET.

I do have a problem though. The Marvel network adapter works fine but I have no connectivity with the NForce adapter. In the Device manager it shows up as working properly but there is no connectivity at all.

Any help in solving this would be deeply appreciated.

I had this same problem -- had to install the NIC driver off the CD that came with the mobo (probably v6.33 of the ForceWare drivers).

Also, FYI, v6.69 seems to work as well. Haven't tried later versions.

I got a hold of DFI Tech Support. It seems the Mac addy for that nic got erased from the bios when i flashed it. Installed the addy in the bios manually and it works fine now.
