Recommended Posts

will dfi have one of these board coming out. Any idea of a date?

I am building a new system shortly after christmas myself, and would like to know, should I buy a ultra-d for now, and wait for this board, or will it be out in like feburary and I should wait?

I'd like to know this myself. Especially since it supports Socket M2 which is the next socket from AMD. Anyone?

M2's according to AMD are not due till middle of next year so you won't see 580M2 before then. Well depending on what AMD does and NO one knows what they will do.

RG,

i wholeheartedly expect you or AG to nail me on this one... its likely the punishment's a swift slap 'round the ears for me even bringin this up again... but i'll take the curious cat approach and weather what comes my way...

is there any word on the DFI RD480/RX480 with ULi 1575 south bridge? the bigtoed version?

No such animal has been heard of by me. Rumors and rumors abound about many things but most is just hearsay so far.

Have a look on the ASUS site, they have just released an ATI RDX200 board and I'm sure it's got the 1575 SB, reports apparently are very good.

I take it you mean this one?

Asus A8R-MVP

That does look nice... but it'll take a bit for me to buy a non-DFI board after my last one
