5.11 Driver install crash

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else experienced system crash when installing 5.11 ethernet driver?Last night I attempted to install the latest NF3 drivers from Nvidia's website and when the ethernet driver started to install my system crashed and restarted. Was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them or am I the oddball again?

Yes, SEVERAL people have experienced problems with it. It is a problem with the driver, not you. Rollback the drivers and just leave it at 5.10, until they get the issue fixed.

My system did not crash after installing 5.11 drivers, but I could never get the ethernet driver to load regardless of the permutations I tried. I've finally settled in the 6.53 remix drivers but ppl have had problems with these also.

It might be a uniquely DFI problem I'm not sure. Anyone seen this crop up in other mobo support forums? Oh thats right no other board maker has a support forum like this . Too bad. Sure glad I decided to get this board that comes with all this help and support.
