well i can't really give you any direction on freeware...I tried out Easy CD-DA and found it to be the easiest and best program for me, so I went ahead and spent a little to purchase it, and have gotten more than my money's worth out of it over the last year+

 

 

the best advice I can give is to google, and hit some sites like tucows, cnet, zdnet, whatever, and do a little comparative reading and reviewing.

 

and even better advice, when you get some freeware, try a few different ones and have her decide which is the easiest, most useful software for her (or you, depending on who ends up having to do the work lol), and stick with that.

 

Everyone's advice is helpful in finding a program, but only you two can decide which is the best for YOU.

You can use winamps disk writer plugins to do this.

 

Go into the options, and select disk writer for the output plugin. If you go into the output options, you can select the file format, and save location. Anything you play in winamp will be stored in that file.
