I'm now running 24/7 at 1.5v @ 2607mhz rock solid stable (237 x 11, 9/10 divider - memory @ 200mhz.) Load temp stays below 50c now, idle 28-29c. When i play games i'll use the 2.5Ghz settings i have in reloaded ...all others in 2.4. this are the summary for my temps. At 1.5v, mine will only passed up to 228htt .. i use 227. The temps seems to correlate with what i have(on load) ... but one thing i noticed on ur machine, the delta t is quite big .. thats almost 22C between idle/load temps. Once i put in 1.65Vcore to try(still) to push it to 2.6Ghz ... i had to cut off prime95 after half an hour coz the temps already reaching 58C with idle temps of 39C. the way i look at it ... its just no go on my cpu. It took only about .05v to move from 2.42GHz to 2.508GHz ... and something must not be right when i have to crankit up by more than .15v to reach 2.6 from 2.508 and i still dont know wether its stable or not. p/s: 1.65v .. thats brave .. hehe. I really feel that 1.65 is just too high ..... somebody here at df-street blew his opty at around 1.7v or 1.75v if im not mistaken ..and that cpu generally accepts higher voltages than the x2. im planning to go wc with swiftech Apex Ultra ... do you think with it mine can go up to 2.6 @ 1.55Vcore ? thats the limit im setting myself or maybe as high as 1.59v(for even higher clock perhaps .. maybe not .. im not that confident at all.) Of course .. i have no problem whatsoever with the current speed .. its fluid. But thats only because i have never tasted the speed achieved by others .. 3.0Ghz .. fuhh or even more Congrats boys .. I have only tested mine 2.508 @1.49v for 24hr load @52C and 2.607GHz @1.65v for 0.5hr load @ 57C. Ok the last one was just for 0.5 hour .. but theres this one guy from Singapore got his to 2.7Ghz @ 1.65v @ 60c load for 24hr. The only conclusion i can make is this. yes u will fail prime95 but not because you are above 50c, its because your delta t is above ~22C. So for most peeps here with ambient in the 20s and idle at around 28C, 50C is the targeted temps. For me here in Malaysia .. ambient around 33-34C, idle around 35C-38C so its safe up to 57C-60C. now .. thats safe to prime and it should pass .. however since x2 goes up to only 65C(amd recommended) .. 60C is already considered dangerous .. even to me. So, ii'll just have to be happy with my 2.42GHz which loads at 46C or my 2.5 which loads temp at 52C .. hence i have a reason to watercooled my rig .. hehe .. thats fun.
