ashy_larry Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Ok so im starting my first build today/right now, and I just put in my I/O template and noticed it has all these little tabs on the back that jut out and look like they would get in the way. Am I supposed to bend these back or rip them off to get them out of the way?? Also I've read alot of warnings that say your motherboard should not touch the metal back of your case, I have a slide out mobo tray and am wondering how to situate the motherboard on it and am worried its not supposed to touch the metal of the tray... HITandRUN Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Just bend these back that’s all! Don’t damage anything! Always think about the possibility of a RMA! Regarding to the MOBO placement. You can only put it on the tray and screw it down on the right places! You can move it a little in the screw holes but that’s pretty much it!
ashy_larry Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 its supposed to sit on the spacers right, not the tray itself right??
lowboy Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 With the ?'s your asking BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE BUILDING GUIDE ON THIS FORUM. Your case should have come with stand offs to hold mobo away from back panel. Be sure to follow the guide. Also your PSU has been showing up on this forum all over as having some problems use search to view.
