OMG, Made a break through! (sorta)

Recommended Posts

i found that CPC is on in the U400S-AL bios by default, which means that i can run 230x11 at 1t! however i cant change it to 2t for a good FSB overclock because the only way i can change it is in windows and it locks up when i try. im curently usind CBID latest version to change timings, all but CPC work.

i would like some help in trying to unlock these options in the bios because it may have something to do with dual channel running so badly in these boards and if we can find a way to disable it then mabye we can fix the problems for everyone (and i can use my 2nd stick of 512Mb ram :D).

is anybody willing to help me?

screenie of CBID, CPUZ timingsclock and sandra mem bench:

i hope to find a way to unlock these timings since everyone knows that dual channel 2x512MB on NFII is hard to do with CPC on...

Hey Charlie, I had no problem getting mine to run 1T after I got some new ram. Running 2x512 Ultra-XL Pc3200 in dual channel at Cas 2-3-3-11-1T 2501Mhz @ DDR454.8x11. If I try to change CPC with CBID it also freezes like yours. When I change it I do it in the bios, why can't you change it in the bios?

Do you have a link to the bios you are referring to?

Are you going to test a modded bios?
