Anonymous1 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Ok, i got back my new board from dfi after rma. I tested it out of the case and all is WELL!!! THe only thing is they sent me a nf4 ultra-D, when i sent them a nf4 sli-dr...why did they switch like that? Is there that much of a difference between the two boards? My second question is with the slight difference in motherboards, will i have to reformat my hdd?
nortius_maximus Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 yes money and sli and extra sata ports and >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. they must have made a mistake as this is not right.
Anonymous1 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 But this board has the two pci-express slots and the jumpers JP11-JP16, the sli jumpers. It also has the hologram at the top that says SLI multi-gpu LanParty. Now that im looking closer...i think they sent me my same board in a Ultra-D box. My first questions sound dumb now but i never researched the differences between all the lanparty boards. I saw the sli-dr and knew i wanted it. So i guess that answers the "reformatting" question. Angry_Games Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 if you turned in an SLI-DR and received an Ultra-D in return, please email me travis at dfiweb dot com and include your receipt from the original SLI-DR purchase, and any correspondence from RMA and I will get your Ultra-D re-replaced with an SLI-DR

Angry_Games Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 you will know if the board itself is SLI-DR by the fact that it has SLI printed on it and there are an extra 4 SATA ports down at the bottom
