Much respect and gratitude to all the veterans, for protecting our lives & freedom. Thanks.

Edit: Maybe just my opinion, but I think the Vets deserve a bit more respect than 3 replies in 30+ views.

I concur.

This is a mere day, that represents, the act of war, the lack of representation, saddens me, as many see it, yet do not fully realize what today means. Not just in our nation, of those elsewhere, today is the celebration, of the man and women, that have given their lives, past, present and future. As our world ever so escalates; into an age where we find ourselves capable of total annihilation, at push of a single button, and on our way to preserve our planet, progress would not have been possible, unfortunately at times through war, while it is our last resort, and worst option, war has proven as a crucial turning point in history, whether good or bad, we must remember, that at the brink of extintion, from the 80's cold war, to today, strategic smart war, what many are taking for granted, will mean, if we wake up to see tomorow, as even though, we may be at peace now, it is iminient, part of our struggle to survive, to fight, agaisn't all odds, today it is the day that we celebrate human determination, dignity and honor. And despite all implications, of war, whether its justifiable or not, it is happening, all around you, even though it may not touch you now. Let us not take an opportunity such as this rememberance in vain, only by truly realising, what is the act of war, shall we be strong enough to prevent it. And thank you to all those that have seen it, fought in it, prevented it. For it is to them, that I had to pleasure to not experience it, and hope I shall never will.

This maybe a bit "extended" and inflated, I grant that, however I find most everyday people not realising how important today is, from past to future. So I had to write something :). Its not much, but hopefully this will inspire someone, and help anyone whom has experienced war, to encourage them, wrong, right, its open to interpretation, understanding that is the real battle.

Thanks Again.
