James3Toe Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I am looking to increase my ram from 1 Gb to 2 Gb and was wondering whether it would be better to buy another 2x512Mb sticks of the my existing ram, or replace it with 2x1Gb sticks of something else. I am currently using Geil Series One S, and it has proven to be very stable since day one...never had any issues whatsoever. If I were to replace them, what would my best choice be...and why? I am only mildly overclocked and running a CPU frequency of 250mhz, so I do not need anything too wild Reliability and stability are more important to me than extreme overclocking. hawkeyefan Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I say buy more Geil ONe ditto, otherwise I'll buy it from you and you can buy 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix so you can run 1T instead of 2T i was thinking 2x1GB ballistix myself but the likelihood of 1:1 307FSB is a lot better with the tccd, lol
