mtx Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Sometimes I put in 1.525v+0.2v and it says 1.6v in bios. Then I put 1.525v+0.3v and it still says 1.6v.. I do 1.55+0v and it says 1.49v.... I don't get it.. There's no "pattern" to follow by, everything is random.....
Squid1 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 The sensors are off. What you get is what you set (not read) in the BIOS.
mtx Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Are you kidding me? 1.525+0.3v = 1.825 in real voltage? holy f***.. why are temps < 50 then?
THunDA Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Does this help.. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...&postcount=3183
mtx Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Well I hope that thread is accurate and what the other guy said isnt. I'm more near 1.525V +.3 which should be less than 1.69V. Probably 1.66ish..
Guest ninjastyle Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I'm still a bit lost here. The numbers we dial in are way below what we get? Is this the case for the LP UT nF3 250Gb too?

Do not equate what you get on the 250gb with the NF3 Ultra D. The 250gb outclasses the Ultra D which is riddled with flaws...and for whatever reason DFI Taiwan has either chosen to move on or simply cannot make the marriage of NF3/939 work any better than it is at this point. It seems no one has pulled that off without hitting lots of problems along the way and perhaps it was just never meant to be... Guest ninjastyle Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Oh man, I never knew that board was flawed. I came close to buying one too, as it's one of the few s939 AGP boards I can think of, but thanks for the info. Kinda blows a hole into my planned Opteron s939 upgrade though! Kinda hard to miss unless you're new to the street...The board is a challenge and not for the faint of heart... Currently tinkering with an opty 150 on this board and it's almost like starting over :shake: If yer gonna go 939 I'd take the plunge/bite the bullet and go with something PCI-express. I still have my 250gb and will probably have it for a long time to come...

Tell me about it ...but that being said got this sucker working with a Opty 175 dual core ....and touch wood humming along at 2.525gmz Core and 280 memory (gotta love the OZC 2 gig kit and all ) but as you said a enthusiast board and nothing less you have to be real enthusiastic about getting this sucker to run... cheers
Guest ninjastyle Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I think Le Petit Lapin has his 148 at 2.9Ghz or something,. Not a bad result with this board at all.
