msg Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Hey guys! My mb don't boot well, only get the led1 & led2 test That's my story... All begin when i try to install windows xp, and get some reboot at start. I donwload the latest bios from the dfi official page, and upgrade to it, after backup the original... Then don't boot well... The software upgrade it well, without any error, i do that in the windows utility, and mark to upgrade all. after thatdon't boot well, i start to think that the upgrade was not well because all time, the leds test stop in the "early post", and before a hard fight, cmos Clear... i can boot,at 100mhz the bus, removing the jumper. i think that all was well, and put it back to the 166 that my cpu uses... Amd xp +2600 Well, don't boot anymore, and the leds test, now can't arrive to early post, the test stop in the led1 and led2, detecting ide devices after the memory presence test. I can't get anything, and i probe the long cmos clear. I change my ram to 1 ddr 256 pc2100 because in the past, it work, but nothing. I wasn't use oc, i don't need, i use the default factory hardware set. Any sugestion? The reset key while power and old it 10s didn't work... What can i do? It is dead? Not appear to be "fired" don't smeal bad... Please, help me! I only use it for one year...
Clay Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 First ya' gotta' make a sig. "user-cp" "edit sig" Put in all the componites of your computer that you can remember. Bios date is important too. Her a link to logan's faq: http://www.logan.eclipse.co.uk/dfi_ui___lpb_faq.htm Stuck in leds 1-n-2 is Initializing super IO. Post back with a sig. I'll do some checkin' around. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1467
