billy1ear Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Hmmm, guess I'll jump in, but I'll pass on the firewall, I use cable/dsl router + spybot + ad aware.
FrobinRobin Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 I installed the newest drivers a couple of days ago and now whenever I use the NVLAN - i get BSOD'd! (HTTP.SYS error) I disabled the NVLAN and use the Marvell one, now everything is fine. I'm reinstalling Windows but my first attempt got as far as booting into windows where it now restarts the system without error every time. My advice is opposite to Rgone... if it aint broke dont try to fix it. However I've not got a fully stable sysyem yet so it may not be driver related? Rgone knows what he's doing ... so i'm going to pick his brains for a working bios Vs driver on the Sli-D... as that may be a solution? Hepath Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Stupid Question: I just downloaded these drivers and installed them... Should I be concerned about the fact that the files extracted ended up in a directory labelled version 8?
red930 Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Well, if you downloaded them from a different source... let's just say that I only use nVidia as the download source for their drivers.
