akin Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Ok I have this mobo and have been running an older Newcastle for a couple of months no major problems until I install my nw Opty 175 Dual Core the machine will post but stalls after that. It reconises my SATA drives and leaves the POST screen then just gives me a blank screen with a cursor at the topleft hand side and sits there. When it POST's it does say unreconied processor but having a read around here ppl have got this board to work with Opty socket 939 quite successfully. I know these CPU'sare not officially supported but I not 100% convinced that its the CPU that is the problem. I am running 705 bios as that was what the board came with I havent flashed the bios at all but will if I have too. Any guidence would be appreciated Cheers
