duntellu Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Hi guys, I've been very much impressed by the rave reviews of the DFI LanpartyUT NF4 Ultra-D. My motherboard should reach me before the end of november. Would there be any problems with my setup? my fears are listed as belows: 1. i'm using the stock lanboy configuration with a zalman 7700 copper cpu fan. would heat be an issue here? Would it help if i added 1 or 2 120mm fans on the side panel to suck out the hot air from the cpu area and from the gpu area? 2. having read that corsair value select isn't really suitable for this motherboard, what are my cheapest alternative? I've spent a fair bit changing to the 7800 GTX, hence i wana know if I can stick with these corsair rams. if it helps, my normal load on the computer is 70% light load (word processing, surfing) 30% gaming ( BF2, quake4, doom3, guildwars). Can i leave f the computer on for extended periods of time( more than 1 month) but reboot it everyday ? my intentions are to keep everything at factory speed for 1 month, but eventually overclock it to 2gig( processor speed) and leave it there for good. what changes must if I wish to overclock ?
