Neoforcer Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Anyone else have this mouse. I just got a Razer Diamondback gaming mouse and man is this mouse sensitive. Takes a little while to adjust to it but it is way better then a Microsoft optical blue mouse. I got tired of my Microsoft mouse jumping across the screen. The only issue I can find is the side buttons are a little hard to use since I don't use them that much it is not to big a deal. more info at Razerzone Optical engine powered by Razer PrecisionTM 1600 DPI, TWICE THAT of conventional high performance sensors Ultra large non-slip mouse buttons, tactile response design Award winning Razer drivers featuring On-the-Fly sensitivityTM adjustment Frame rate over 6400 frames per second (5.8 megapixels per second) 16 bit data path, as compared to 8 bit and 12 bit data paths used by other conventional mice Always On Mode – the optical sensor never powers down - provides instantaneous response at all times during gameplay High speed motion detection, up to 40ips and 15g
tameone Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 yup thats a sweet mouse. razer just came out with a new mouse, the copperhead. it improves on the design of the diamondback.. slightly different shape and better thumb buttons. it also has a 2000dpi sensor and framerate over 7080.. but at $80 its a little steep
PC1X1 Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I have a microsoft intelliexplorer 2.0, personally I love it, and play first person shooters, the diamonback etc are incredible mice, but I think all this enthusiast mice thing, is overrated, Just because you have one, doesn't mean you cant beat me at FPS, with my M$ . Enjoy your mice though, I wish I had one to play with Sniff, but mr M$-1337, (Mouse Name) isnt going anywhere .

tameone Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 PC1X1 you would be amazed how much smoother and precise your mouse/aim would feel if you were up upgrade to a newer mouse, even a logitech mx300 wich is an 800dpi sensor capable of 500hz reporting.
