s10man69 Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Ok, I've been looking for a little while and can't seem to find a compatible list of PSU's with the nf4 Ultra-D mobo. I don't think mine will work, but I'm not sure, if you know if it will, please let me know. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Critter Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 My X-connect worked. I had no issues running stock. That said, I didn't like running out of spec and upgraded to the psu in my sig. Good luck.

Critter, Did you just pick up the 24-pin connecto and use that? I'm going to have to run it that way for a month or so, so I'll be good to go til then? Critter Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 I just plugged the 20 pins into the 24 pin motherboard leaving the top 4 holes empty (pretty sure it was the top 4 empty-research it). It should only fit one way. Ran it for 7 months that way. I did buy the 24 pin X-connect adapter but decided to upgrade and never installed it. davidhammock200 Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 DFI REQUIRES native 24-pin ATX molex & 480W for all the DFI N4 mobos. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...22&postcount=34 PSU Guide: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10854
Critter Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 And I had to shave down the 4-pin CPU power cable to avoid bending a capacitor. You can also just remove the hard plastic shell from what I have heard. Good luck.
