6.70 vs. 6.82 nvidia nforce4 drivers?

have you guys experienced the two.. have you noticed any gains or losses? performance boosts/decreases?

I cannot find a 6.82 driver.

 

And the 8.82 driver for the nForce4 430/410

 

Does not fully work.

# Firewall needs the new nic driver

# New nic driver does not install, so firewall does not fully work.

 

No audio drivers too.

i just installed it.. and ran 3dmark05.. on 6.70 i got 8725.. and with the 6.82 received 8698.. not much difference... don't know where the gains are.. but apparently the 6.82 puts the sli-dr right with the new asus x16 board in many benches... though i haven't seen it yet. >.

I have used both sets. The 6.70 are much much better then the 6.82 drivers. Also the 81.87 GFX card drivers are fantastic. I finally broke 14 grand on 2005 with em.

A gain of 27 points is nothing .. If you run 3dmark 2-3 times you will get a different score each time that could be from 20-30 points or up to 100 sometimes.. Benchmarks arent perfect.. But hey at least you didnt loose a few hundred... hehe..
