Guest LithoTech Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Edit/ nevermind... Ran into a problem with 3DMark 2001, definately tied to using 4x sticks, as it passes with 2x sticks. System being used by kid for the next few months, I may revisit it later if I get it on my workbench again. .
SpeedEuphoria Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 well for a dual core you would need to have 2 seprate prime 95's going, one on each core, thats why they say just use sp004 beta because you dont have to set it up

Guest Retratserif Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 EDIT: This would be the proper template for a 680i and 780i mobo right? Though the info is not mine, I just wanted to verify it. Guest LithoTech Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Yes, that looks exactly right and matches line for line with one I have. Here is a PDF worksheet you can use to keep track of your settings and progress: eVGA 680i SLI 122-CK-NF68-A1 Memory and BIOS Worksheet You can see it is a bit different, but essentially from the FSB and Memory config down, it also exactly matches your template. A JPG of the worksheet for quick viewing within this thread: No more overclocking notes scribbled on scrap paper... instead, I now have binders full of these sheets (I make them up custom for good boards, and use a generic one for everything else). . Guest Retratserif Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Amazing. I will be using that. Just have to print some out during lunch and take them home. Its the exact same as the 680i, though you can tune some voltages for Quads and stuff now. But I am not going to be messing with that. As I do not have a quad core... yet. I have PCMark and 3dMark 06 Benched so far. One of them requires me to register. I am not sure I am going to do that just to view a bench.
