malinois1 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 AS5 is NOT conductive. OK and is a capacitor a conductor or an insulator? :shake: Have you tested that personally with a mulimeter? Where did you get this info or come to this conclusion. Never the less people have burned cpu's and mobos, and vid card by getting on the electronics. So I go back to my first question.... bottom line is it will fry your electronics due to electrical charges if let on electronics
StephenC Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Here are the spec's for AS5 http://www.arcticsilver.com/as5.htm
davidhammock200 Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 OK and is a capacitor a conductor or an insulator?Insulator in that it blocks DC voltage. It doesn't matter, if you allow AS5 to get in to the lands & electronics, it can still cause problems & damage. Got to clean it out!
