s.win Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 hallo i have a maxtor 6B300S0. when i install the chipset driver i need about 10 minutes to boot to windows or it totally freezes during the bootup. if i dont install the ide drivers and use the windows drivers everythings works perfectly. i would like to use ncq. if i upgrade to the latest firmware will it be possible to install the nforce chipset drivers without having these bootup problems? could some one send me the files which are needed: sandro at senerap.org thank you so much swin

SuprNova Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I think I remember reading a post that said do not install the IDE drivers that are on the CD as they cause instability/freezes/crashes.
