jtpaintballwdp Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Just built a new system, the specs are in my Sig. This is the third system I have built using a DFI lanparty board starting with the NF2 Ultra and now 2 SLi based. For my 3rd system I am still undecided on the RAM to use. Im thinking either OCZ VX Gold 3500, or Plat. For my last two I used Corsair XMS Pro 2-2-2-5. I am looking for some RAM that is very good at OCing. Right now I am just using some gernic junk. Any sugestions are welcome -Kyle PS i can get my BIOS version when i get home from work.

Guest thespin Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 People appear to be getting good results with Geil too and some types of OCZ (don't get the high volt type) ...
RGone Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 H*ll No... (don't get the high volt type) ... Unless you just like to wade thru problems trying to run some spec you see printed and TO DO SO takes a ton of voltage. RGone...
