Ah, fishing with Dynamite!

 

Those were the days.

 

My GrandMother told me stories about how she would weight down sticks of dynamite and throw it in a pond... The dynamite would sink to the bottom and explode, within seconds tons of dead catfish would float to the surface hehe..

My Uncle Virgil was an Electrician at LSU. He had a hand cranked generator that we would use for fishing. One electrode at the front of the boat and another at the rear.

 

He'd let me crank that handle and the fish would float right up and we'd pick the good ones with a net. After a few minutes the rest would swim off.

 

Not much sport in it but man we had some killer fish frys.
