FrozenLightning Posted August 4, 2003 Posted August 4, 2003 Well, I was generally getting temps of an average of 30 degrees celsius on my p4 2.8 ghz oc'd to 3.3 ghz watercooled. I took of the heatsink, cleaned it with alcohol, cleaned the heatplate on the cpu with alcohol, applied Ceramique (instead of the old Arctic Silver 3) and I am now running a cool 23 degrees celsius on average... this stuff rocks.. and it's made by the same company!! GET CERAMIQUE!! Mike

DevilMB3017 Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 I've used AS3 and ASA (Alumina, for vid cards and non-conductive stuff.) I'm waiting for my ASC to come in with my next order which needs to be placed...I can't wait to see my temps fall! Thanks for the good news guys! Montol Posted August 11, 2003 Posted August 11, 2003 Run at full for a good 24 hours solid, then let it cool down for a night and the next day you should notice it. Let it get a good burn in

icypinoy Posted August 12, 2003 Posted August 12, 2003 hmm didnt burn in. just left it on...temps were running 33C for the CPU and 35C for the system (i guess mobo) after applying the ceramique . i came home 16 and a half hours later...and comp is running cooler - 30C and 32 Sys. both tests with case open. i think im still gonna burn it in good with case closed. think running prime 95 will be good?
