ADDENTUM: right after the format, windows ask for some files that was loaded from the nf4 raid diskette but does not seem to be able to find them. it keeps looking on the a: but does not find them? maybe the files are not loaded that why i get BSOD?

ok it seems like (from the hard-drive-sata sticky thread) slipstream cd of winxp is not good. I am trying a regular winxp cd now. so far so good

ok its good now. phew... It was the slipstream winXP sp2 that caused the nf4 raid drivers to not being intalled in a freshly formatted system.

credits to cpuz in the hard-drive-raid sticky
