jayman1017 Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I was wondering if anyone knows if the ZALMAN CNPS7000B-ALCU 92mm cooling fan will work on the DFI lanparty UT NF4 SLI-DR mobo. I am using the AMD 4000+ San Diego processor and would like to keep to temps down as low as possible. If that fan will not work, then has anyone had good luck with any other fan on this motherboard? ThnX.

carrera4 Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Yo jayman, I have one on my 3200 winchester in my ultra D and it overangs the first dimm slot, so install the memory first, but there are no issues with the fit. it also comes a bit close to the 5v plug that is between the 1st pci express slot an the heatsink itself, but the power cable clears both. quiet fan, even in its max setting and I'm getting temps of around 43C in idle. Guest Blooz1 Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I've been running a 7000b AlCu since I built this rig, and it works very well. My usual idle temp is about 32C with a max observed load temp of 51C during extreme testing.
