fps_shawn Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Can you point out were the "battery" is?
Shinobi Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 See that big round thing under the Cmos Jumper in the pic? Thats the battery. You can't miss it on your board. Its a round, silver CR 2032 3v Lithium Battery.
fps_shawn Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 ok, so how do i take it off? remove it? and put it back on?
Guest Tmod Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 ok, so how do i take it off? remove it? and put it back on? Well there should be a little silver arm with prongs on it that hold the battery in. Push that little arm back so the prongs that are holding the battery in are out of the way. Now gently place a NON-conductive tool on the edge of the battery and pry it out (Gently Now). To re-install just pop it back in place making sure the polarity is correct and the prongs lock the battery back in. Tmod
