Is Bios 623-3 better then 310(stock)

Recommended Posts

Dear all, first time I installed my rig, I can get 275x10 (spi32M pass) with stock Bioswith

optimize default setting :

idle temp 36c-38c

CPU - 1.36v ATX+12v - 12.03v

LDT Bus - 1.16v NB+1.5v - 1.48v

ATX+5.0v - 5.1v ATX+3.3v - 3.31v

DRAM - 2.6v VBAT+3.0v - 3.1v

after a few week I flashed my Bios with 623-3, but I can't get 275x10 anymore( spi32M failed)with optimize default setting :

idle temp 30c-33c

CPU - 1.36v ATX+12v - 12.03v

LDT Bus - 1.16v NB+1.5v - 1.48v

ATX+5.0v - 5.1v ATX+3.3v - 3.31v

DRAM - 2.6v VBAT+3.0v - 3.1v

5 days ago, I tried to flash my Bios with 623-1 but when writing the Bios finished suddently got blank screenfor along time, I wait for a moment, then I restart it because nothing come up(there is nothing/blank, also no insert disk)

I RMA the mobo and I got new one, with stock Bios(310) I can't get 275x10 and there are different voltage shown :

with optimize default setting :

idle temp 36c-38c

CPU - 1.34v ATX+12v - 11.9v

LDT Bus - 1.15v NB+1.5v - 1.45v

ATX+5.0v - 5.05v ATX+3.3v - 3.28v

DRAM - 2.59v VBAT+3.0v - 3.04v

my question :

1. Is Bios 623-3 can lower temp?

2. If I only use venice 3200+ /single core , Is it worth to replace the stock bios with 623-3?cause in my old mobo(before RMA) stock Bios had better performance then 623-3

3. With same revision R.AB0 and same peripheral attach to mainboard, there are different voltages between 2 mobo.Is it usually happened?

4. I use CDROM (burn iso) to flash, but got accident/failed to flash 623-1, can anyone tell me why?

I use optimize default setting, but not in auto. I mean when POST I see 2-3-2-8 1T so I use this number

Please help me...
