before Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 a little higher clock for this 146 CAB2E 0546GPAW... [email protected] | http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=75504
ghettotech Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 nice! 1.74v is a little high for me Of course i dont have a chiller and temps are alot higher already. Around 35c Idle now @ 1.525 Is that a stable speed or just CPUz?
before Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Thx mate! Unfortunately, the chiller doesn't help me much for stable speeds because load temps do not stay descent (for a chiller of course). Anyway, the cpu passed OCCT at [email protected] with a full load temp of about 33°C.
Supercharged Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 does anyone have data on newer batches of 146s and 165s?
desire Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 How new we talking? I just picked up a 146 the day before last. stepping -> CACJE 0603FPMW I test to see how far they go on stock volts first. Seems happy priming at 287x10 1.4v (1.38v cpu-z) ATM
N4CR Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 does anyone have data on newer batches of 146s and 165s? I pulled off my HSF and the numbers are: OSA165DAA6CD CCBWE 0550 UPMW 138745AL 50283 2826mhz @ 1.31-1.325v prime stable 6 hours w/Scythe Ninja (aircooling). It's hot at 53-55 deg load and 39deg idle. Sometimes I get random (straight off) shutdowns with SETI and doing something else after a while but I think it might be a problem with new PSU, RAM settings or running the same year old XP install over multiple CPU's and hardware configs and installing one hell of alot of junk. edit: because more CPU volts does not fix the problem at all. I just saw a thread about HDD block mode which sounds similar... I do have a brand new hdd in there with that enabled... will play with it tomorrow. adreno Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Mine (CACJE 0603FPMW) is about 2 days old as well. 2.9 prime stable, 3.0 was not stable, and for now I think I'll just enjoy this chip. This thing flys! Almost takes the fun out of OC'g.
