games only play in 2d crash in 3d any help please

the problem im having is that when i start a game runnin or dvd it crashes and sends me back to windows (doesnt reboot)

 

im runing 7/04-2BTA BigToe BIOS

and omega drivers

 

being building this a week now help

graphics drivers scream out to me ....

 

also make sure u have latest drivers for the creative card, creative are known trouble makers

hi thanks im using omega g card drives 5.9 version but u say that sound drivers could cause this problem if so where do i get drivers from thanks

u shud be able to use their auto update, if u have installed some sound card drivers

 

if not u might have to do it manually (i believe u have to use IE5+ for their autoupdate too)

also goto the MFR's site for your gfx card and make sure u are using the latest drivers ...

iv installed all new drivers for sound card uninstalled all ati stuff and put new ati drivers on now all dvd films work but still games that need 3d dont work but 2d games do any ideas thanks

have you overclocked atall

 

this is an odd problem ..

 

Id check through the whole bios for somthign that could be causing a problem

 

try reinstalling directx

Try runing Prime95 too
