SLI ALL set up, is it workin?

Recommended Posts

I set my SLI 6600 gt cards up, and moved the jumpers on mobo. how do I know if i set it up right. Does the system read both cards as one now, and is does it have combines processing power?

Is there some SLI software I need, It mentions SLI software at the nvidia site?

Check each card individually. Make sure they have the same exact BIOS revision.

Leave one card installed and use Driver Cleaner Pro to remove any nVidia display drivers.

When you reboot, install the latest nVidia drivers you've downloaded.

Install the second card.

Post back with your results.

windows xp update needed or something

as far as i know, you need service pack 2 to get it to work properly.

if you have service pack 2, try this.

you must remove any cards not compatible with SLI". thats all it says.

I had the same problem on one of my many SLI rigs. Even though it said that I had the same bios version on my cards, I still couldn't get SLI up and running.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Even reinstalled windows. Still nothing.

I fixed the problem by flashing the Gfx bios, even though it had the same. I went to MVKTech to get the bios version for the card and flashed. SLI running on them now.
