ACCUALLY 128 IS THE MINIMUM SET BY MICROSOFT FOR WINDOWS XP, AND 256 IS RECCOMENDED

well, you should have some more ram, it will help with performance in games, and in operating systems like Windows XP, 256 is OK, but if u have the money get 512. To overclock ur processor u have to get into ur bios, do this by starting up ur computer, when it starts to POST, which is right at the very begining, look fo somting that tells u to press " " to enter setup or somting like that, the most common keys are delete,F1,F2

once in ur bios dig araound till u find a place that will let u modify ur fsb(front side bus) and your cpu Multiplyer(Note most AMD and INTEL multiplyers are locked and AND cpu's require unlocking by modifying the cpu its self). in order to overclock u must increase the fsb and the multiplyer. after u have increased the fsb and/or multiplyer u have over clocked your cpu.

IMPORTANT overclocking requires great care, and good cooling, you could fry ur cpu if u dont know what ur dooing, dont overclock in big steps, go slowly. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND YOU READ MORE INTO THE ART OF OVERCLOCKING, AND HAVE A DECENT MOTHERBORD

HEAR IS A GOOD TEST TO SEE IF U ARE READY TO OVERCLOCK. iF YOU CAN ANSWER A TRUTHFUL YES TO 85% OF THESE U ARE READY, 95 IS EVEN BETTER AND RECCOMENDED

1. CAN YOU NAME ALL THE PARTS IN YOUR COMPUTER, INCLUDING MAKE AND MODEL(EG MOTHERBOARD, ASUS, P4C533)

2. DO YOU KNOW WHAT A FSB IS

3.DO YOU KNOW WHAT A BIOS IS

4.DO YOU KNOW HOW TO GET INTO UR BIOS(if u figured this out by reading my post it doesent count)

5.DO YOU KNOW HOW TO REMOVE AND RESEAT YOUR PROCESSOR, AND HEATSINK

6.DO YOU KNOW WHAT THERMAL PASTE IS AND WHAT IT DOES

7.HAVE YOU EVER BEEN INSIDE YOUR PC CASE

8.DO YOU KNOW HOW TO AJUST YOUR CPU VOLTAGES

9.DO YOU KNOW WHAT UR RAM'S MAXIUM SPEED IS

10.ARE YOU PREPARED TO DAMAGE OR COMPLETELY FRY YOUR CPU

My 2200 runs at 1.96ghz very stable, settings are 13.5x145 and is seen by windows as a 2400 all i did was those two settings ;)

I also have to add that i have a monster HS and adequate cooling

Addendum: when i say stable i mean that i can run prime torture test for hours,i doubt that you could do that with a 2100 at 2.some ghz <_<
