The more we can know, the more chance there is we can help. Then, which slots are your memory in? Do you have all four power connectors connected to the motherboard? wickette Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I am locking up still on the 2nd rig.bios:623/05.. actions taken thus far::: have reinstalled Win XP ... 1. 1 stick ram, then 2 (with) memtest +1.55, no errors 2. prime95 for 1 month no errors.. 3. unplugged the DvD, CD rom still lock ups (out now for 3 days) 4. unplugged the 150 raptor HHD.. (for about 8 hrs still lockups) I have all updates.. The 1st rig is just under 1.5 year.. the ati card is from my frist rig.in the 2nd rig... 2nd rig is just under 6 months.. starting having this problem for a month or so still trying to figure out what it would be.. The lock ups are random it may run all day with no problems then it my run for only boot up.. or 4 min (I think you get the picture).. Can I change the video card slot.. it is in the one over the mojo fan now.. closest to the CPU Any other ideas guys: I have not changed the bios due to the lock ups not sure what it would do .. wickette Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Rig 2 went down today "corrupt or missing window32systemdrivers... but so far I cant fix the problem.. but I dont know dos.. but this is not a DFI problem so on to RIG 1 I thought I got this one stable for it has been running fine and seems to be as I type but I cked the Prime95 test and got dang it I cant figure out how to paste the report here.. geeeesssssss.. will i ever figure anything out on my own.. cry Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
